Inbicon Awarded 7 mio. Euro Grant from the Danish Government

Inbicon has been awarded a grant of 7 mio. Euro by the Danish government to build a demonstration plant for producing 2nd generation bioethanol. The plant will be located next to DONG Energy's power plant in Kalundborg in the proximity of Copenhagen, and will be ready for operation under the climate summit in November 2009.

The plant will receive 100 t/day of wheat straw, and will produce bioethanol, CO2-neutral fuel for the power plant and cattle feed.

In 2007, Inbicon received a grant of 2.5 mio. Euro to design the demonstration plant.
