We’re particularly gratified that the Inbicon Biomass Refinery can be adapted to use no fossil fuels in the process. By utilizing cogeneration, we transform the lignin powder from the backend of an Inbicon Biomass Refinery into processing energy. In fact, the feedstock actually produces enough extra energy to process itself. And because the energy is a biofuel, we can eliminate using fossil fuels in the daily operation of the plant.

What’s more, the lignin powder our process yields is so clean it can be used without additional treatment and with no risk of boiler damage when burned to generate power and heat.
