Natural bacteria inhibitor

Large amounts of antibiotics are still used in North American starch-based plants to prevent infections in the fermentation process. In Europe, this is illegal. In North America, it’s expensive. So hops are sometimes substituted. But we’ve discovered a simple, safe, and economical alternative to both antibiotics and hops. The Inbicon pre-treatment process produces a natural bacteria inhibitor we call InBiotics™. We’ve found a way to control the inhibitor level so that yeast can grow but other bacteria cannot. When partnering with an existing ethanol plant, we can send a small amount of our inhibitor into the starch-based fermentation to effectively and naturally prevent infections.
