The name Inbicon is formed from Integrated Biomass Conversion.

Vision
Inbicon aims to be the world leader in the development of pre-treatment technologies for sustainable bio refineries based on integrated conversion of biomass residue.

Business philosophy
Inbicon’s objective is to develop pre-treatment concepts based on enzymatic decomposition of biomass and waste, and to demonstrate technologies practically on a commercial scale in order to license the technologies to commercial partners, who can sell and construct plants for bio refineries.

Inbicon aims to form partnerships with companies able to complement their technologies to Inbicon’s technologies.

Technical philosophy
Inbicon aims at achieving maximum synergy, value and efficiency in biomass utilization by:

• integrating the process with the production of electricity and through co-production between the agricultural, waste and energy sectors
• integrating starch based processes with whole crop processes
• utilising the biological part of waste
• reusing and evaporating water to avoid discharge of waste water
• ensuring an efficient and simple process
• ensuring a flexible process which can focus on products with the highest value.
