For three days, 200 international experts in second generation bioethanol learned how far we have come with our technology development at a new conference that DONG Energy hosted in Copenhagen.
 
The conference was organised by the European Commission in collaboration with the US Department of Energy, and proudly facilitated by DONG Energy. More information about the conference can be found here

At the end of Thursday afternoon, the second day, half of the participants saw for themselves as they visited Inbicon’s demonstration plant at Asnæs Power Station in Kalundborg.

The visit included a presentation of Inbicon’s history and the technology of converting straw into second generation bioethanol, as well as a guided tour led by Benny Mai, Operations Manager of Inbicon, and Christian Morgen, Senior Manager of Business Development & Marketing, Inbicon.

On Thursday afternoon, Benny Mai, Operations Manager, gave 100 international conference participants a guided tour, which was met with great interest by the inquisitive guests.

Impressed with Inbicon
The interest in the plant and the technology was huge, which was reflected by the guests’ many questions.  Several of the participants said this visit was the high point of the conference.

Before the guided tour, Niels Henriksen, CEO of Inbicon, had given a speech at the conference. It was followed by a presentation from Jesper Bang Andersen, Head of Inbicon Sales & Marketing, and René Juul Strandgaard, project manager of Sales & Marketing.
